Artstarts summer camps are all about kids having Fun and expressing themselves through the Arts

What:  
Costume Making Camp

Who:       Ages 12 - Adult

When:      June 16, 18, 23, 25, 30, July 2, 7, 9

Time:       6PM - 9PM

Where:     The Artstarts House

Cost:         $10 Donation per day of attendance.  Maximum $80 if all days attended.  Pay at the door or use Registration Online to pay in advance with a Charge Card.

Materials Needed:  None unless student wants to make a costume to keep.  Information will be provided at first class.   

This new camp will feature instruction in the skills required to create various kinds of costumes and headdresses.  There will be a particular focus on the types of animated costumes that will be required for the Lion King production.  Students will learn to sew, design, construct, and measure and will complete projects using Artstarts materials that will remain Artstarts property.  Costumes will be used in Lion King Jr. Production.  If student is in the show.... they may use the costume they made, or another costume that was made by another student, depending on their part in the show.  This camp is being taught by Kyle Brooks and Chris Chaney, with several assistants.   More details to follow as available.
